ORGANISATIONAL DESCRIPTION
YUFAT is a community based organization currently working in Kyaka II refugee settlement with vision of equipping the community with creative mindset for better Africa. The organization aims at grooming the transformed young African generation by the new technology towards development promoting scientific based education in refugee and host community and empower girls with the sense of ability to change the community.
Requirements:
- Handwritten application letter
- Photocopy of current academic document and identity document.
- Basic knowledge in English or French.
- Good learning and communication skills Modules offered: Basic computer introduction, Microsoft word, power point, excel, publisher, Microsoft and google account, Photoshop CS6, Basic website designing (HTML & CSS). Learning outcomes
- Learners will have ability to access online courses, make academic research and digitalize education.
- Learners will be able to claim proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, excel and publisher and familiar with advanced functions for a variety of professional, educational, and personal situations.
- Learners will be able to independently create professional looking documents and presentations.
- Learners will be familiar with some advanced Word and PowerPoint functions.
- Learners will be equipped with skills of blind typing.
- Learners will have a Microsoft account.
- Learners will understand the functional differences between regular Office programs and Office Online.
- Learners will have a Google account.
- Learners will be able to create, upload, and share documents in the cloud. Goodie* drive google docs, google sheets and google slides
