Program Overview: KRLON’s Coordination Program focuses on enhancing coordination among community-based organizations (CBOs) within Kyaka II Refugee Settlement and the host community. The program fosters collaboration and joint initiatives to address the needs of forcibly displaced populations.

Objectives:

  1. Strengthen Coordination: KRLON enhances coordination among CBOs, promoting collaboration and joint initiatives to address the needs of forcibly displaced populations.
  2. Promote Partnerships: The program facilitates partnerships between CBOs, Refugee-led Organizations (RLOs), organizations led by Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), stateless people, and other stakeholders to address the needs and challenges faced by affected communities.

Activities:

  • Organizing regular meetings and forums for CBOs and stakeholders to share information and coordinate efforts.
  • Facilitating joint initiatives and projects among CBOs and stakeholders to address common challenges.
  • Providing training and capacity building opportunities to enhance coordination skills among CBOs.
  • Establishing communication channels for information sharing and collaboration.

Outcomes:

  • Improved coordination among CBOs and stakeholders in responding to the needs of forcibly displaced populations.
  • Enhanced partnerships and collaboration among CBOs, RLOs, IDPs, and other stakeholders.
  • Increased efficiency and effectiveness in delivering assistance and services to displaced communities.
  • Strengthened resilience and capacity of local organizations to respond to humanitarian situations.
