ABOUT US:

Hewa Bora group is a legally registered local CBO which is located in BWIRIZA Zone,Ndolelire Village,Kyaka II Refugee Settlement,Kyegegwa District.Hewa Bora is a no-partisan,non-political Voluntary association of members.The group was formed on the 04/12/2022 by 31 members of the above mentioned address.The vision for this group is to be an empowered and active group able to influence policies and decision making and social service delively for the community in order to increase household income and reduce household poverty.

ACTIVITIES:

Savings VSLA (Village Saving and loan association),
livestock,
participate in income generating activities
agriculture.

CHALLENGES :

Some of the members do not save regularly because they do not have a periodically income source(most of them rely on Monthly ration in order to get what to save)
The group lacks a saving box,pass books and other related materials,
The group does not have land agriculture and other income generating activities.
The group does not have enough funds to implement all its activities,

NEEDS :

Funds to enable the group get enough money to implement all of its projects,

Record keeping materials like pass book,ledger books,group register and visitors books,
Saving box,stamp,stamp pad and other materials found in the box.
