About Matendo Mema Group
Matendo Mema Group commenced its operations in Mukondo, within the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, on May 23rd, 2022. Our group comprises 25 dedicated members, with 12 women and 13 men, representing a diverse blend of both the refugee and host communities.
Our mission is rooted in the pursuit of positive change and community development. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to bridge the gap between refugee and host communities, fostering unity, understanding, and mutual support.
At Matendo Mema Group, we are committed to addressing the challenges faced by our community, irrespective of background or origin. Our members work tirelessly to create a harmonious environment where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.
Our journey is one of unity, resilience, and shared vision. Together, we aspire to create a brighter future, characterized by cooperation, prosperity, and goodwill among all members of our community.
