ABOUT US :
NYOTA YAKO Group was founded in January 2023,we are all 30 women refugees and maybe in the future more,we joined our hands so that we build our capacity in self-reliance and as we come from different countries and places ;we get to know each other as neighbours living in the same settlement for a better tomorrow is possible if we walk hand in hand.
ACTIVITIES :
- Saving,(VSLA)
- We make soaps and chacoal
CHALLENGES :
- lack of enough materials,
- lack of income generating activities.In fact most of us used to rely on a mothly help from World Food Program but since there had been change on the list of granted or eligible ones to go on receiving this help, some members do not get what to save as they do not work
- Some who took loans and failed to pay back which make us setback and cannot plan for new projects or enhance the ongoing ones.
NEEDS :
- we need helpand support so that our group can go on with its activities or maybe more activities,
- we need partnering with other organisations or individuals who can really support our cause.
