ABOUT US:

We are 15 men and 17 women who joined hands to lift ourselves for better tomorrow.Amongst us 5 are nationals from the host community,and 27 are refugees.

ACTIVITIES:

  • We cultivate maize and vegetables including tomatoes,eggplants,cabbages and onions.
  • we buy and sell maize,beans and coffee.
  • we do poultry
  • we do beekeeping
  • we offer trainings about sexial gender based violance
  • we do public speaking and advocacy
  • we also do Village Saving and Loan association

CHALLENGES:

  • low capital,
  • lack of transportation of our production from the fields to the market,or from the market to the stock
  • We use local tools,
  • we do not have an office
  • we lack good seeds
  • we lack a machine to transform maize into poultry food,
  • we are still using local beehives

NEEDS:

  • we need modern beehives
  • we need funds enough to strengthen our CBO,
  • We lack proffessional tools,
  • we need a milling machine to add value on our products,
  • we need an office.
