ABOUT US :
Tujitegemeye Maisha Yetu has begun in January 2019,and it is made of 19 members all from the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement.
19 are women and 11 are men,we joined our hands for the same cause to fight poverty amongst by creating income generating activities.
ACTIVITIES :
- We do saving and give loans (VSLA)
- LIVESTOCK(we breed goats and cows.)
CHALLENGES :
- members are incapable to generate income enough to help us in either sustaining,enhancing our ongoing activities or impliment the new ones.
- some people get loans and never pay back ,which sometimes brings conflicts,
- lack of a pen for cows and goats,
- lack of medecines sometimes and proffessional skills,
NEEDS :
- we need individuals or other organisations that can partner with us,maybe yes it might provide knowledge and support.
- we need medecines for cows and goats,
- we need trainings in livestock.
- we need our own land to cultivate enough food for cows or goat
- we need financial support.
