- Name of the group:Afia Bora Farmers.
- Creation date :30 June 2020
- Our vision is to reduce poverty and hunger in our community,and our mission to contribute to the development in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement particularly and in the whole country of Uganda.
- Our objectives are as follow:
Fight against hunger and poverty,Improve skills of members about violance,promote hygiene and environment protection in our community.
ACTIVITIES:
- Saving and loaning (VSLA)
- Agriculture
- Advocate of SBGV in our community,
- Environment protection,trees planting and roads maintenance.
CHALLENGES :
- In Village Saving and Loaning Association(V.S.L.A),we have lack of support,
- In agriculture,we have lack of a bigger or enough land.
- in SGBV ,we lack proffessional skills.
- Lack of trainings of ability about SGBV and others.
- In environment,we lack materials enough to help us enhance our work.
NEEDS :
- We need a financial support and trainings in VSLA,
- We need a bigger land and seeds,
- we need a store and proffessional materials like pumps of spray
- we need trainings about SGBV and other activities,
- we need trainings and proffessional materials in in our projects of environmental protection.
