ABOUT US:
We created UMOJA NI NGUVU in April 2022,we ar now 30 members and all of them are refugees residing in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement,twelve (12) of us are women and eighten(18) are men.
ACTIVITIES :
- saving and loaning (VSLA)
- Agriculture (vegetables)
- Livestock(goats)
CHALLENGES :
- Lack of enough capital so that we should be enabled to gibe a bigger loan as we do,
- climate change in agriculture make us face seldom or random challenges like getting dry of our juvenile crops,and different results accordingly to expexted ones,..
- lack of proffessional skills,
- lack of medicines for the crops and for our goats,
- lack of proffessional skills and tools.
NEEDS:
- we need proffessional trainings in agriculture and livestock.
- we need financial support,
- we need proffessional tools,
- we need medicines for our tame,
